A Happy and Thankful Thanksgiving this year from La Casa de la Última Frontera . The course correction that our Nation took this November makes this the best in the last few years.
Today the menu is turkey, ham, cornbread dressing (if it were in the bird it would be stuffing), mashed taters, sweet tater casserole, green bean casserole (amped up), brown gravy and rolls. This will be washed down with both sweet ice tea, plain ice tea and a wonderful Tuscan red wine. Later pumpkin pie with hand whipped cream to cap it all off. And maybe a nice brandy or burbon to settle the stomach.
Give thanks today to our Almighty Creator for the blessings in your life. Give thanks to Him for the people around you. Remember our military, first responders and medical personnel who are working today.
